About Bending Binds

Bending Binds book club is for anyone...literally!  You can even be involved without anyone knowing it!  Here's how it works.  Depending on the length of the book, we'll read one book in about a month's time.  On Sundays, I post discussion topics over the pre-established book segment that should have been read that week.  Readers can "comment" their responses, or if you're a listener type, you can be involved by simply reading everyone else's comments.

There are no commitments or pressures, here.  You can come and go as your life events allow.  Also, being a weak reader, myself, we will not rush the reading time frame.  Reading should be fun and relaxing, not a homework'esque task with a short and strict deadline.  If you're a fast reader, then by all means, read ahead and meet us at the finish line.  If not, take your time, and just try to meet the  weekly reading segments.  I find small goals help the less disciplined reader ;-)

We primarily read fiction, but non-fiction will be added to the mix every now and then.  Have a book recommendation?  Tell me!  Scared to voice your opinions or thoughts on a discussion question?  Don't be!  All input is good input, as long as it's not insulting or rude to another reader.

With all that said...Welcome!  I hope we can plan some in-person area gatherings in the future, and I look forward to reading, interpreting, and sharing with you all!
